Four Things Modelling Agencies Will Expect of You Prior to a Shoot

Modelling Agencies Singapore are relied upon by businesses to help them select only the very best models, ones who will give their all at a shoot and do everything possible to make them as simple and slick as possible. Most of the things that an agency will expect from you as a model are common sense; do not be rude to the director, be on time and so on. But do not ignore the basics as they will go a long way in helping decide whether you become a successful model or not.
Modelling agencies are often not entirely clear on what they expect of models, however, particularly when it comes to the shoots. Because the modelling agencies are not the ones who are organising the event, there is often confusion between the agency's client and the agency about who is responsible for what. This article is therefore intended to help you to understand what you should do prior to a shoot if you have not already done so, and what you can do to avoid any confusion when it comes to the day of the shoot itself.
1. Find out from the agency about the client
Okay so this is one that you should do regardless of whether you are expected to or not. This is something that the agency can help you with and which will go a long way to help you succeed. Ask the agency about the client; find out whatever information you can as it will come in handy when it comes to the day of the shoot. Do not turn up on the day of the shoot asking "so what is this shoot for?" Modelling agencies have bundles of information about their clients so make use of it.
2. Provide size information to the client
You should always send the client an email or give them a call to say thank you at the very least, but also take this chance to provide information about your clothing size before they have to chase you up. if you are doing fashion modelling then this is obviously of fundamental importance.
3. Prepare the night before
Make sure you get a good night's sleep, that you take all your make-up off and that you have properly cleansed your skin. If it is your best friend's birthday the night before a shoot and she wants you to go out in the city then do so at your own risk! Remember that you are primarily being hired because of your looks so if you turn up smelling of alcohol and your skin looking like it has been screwed up, then the client will not be impressed! Use your common sense, but make sure you turn up looking as healthy and natural as possible.
4. Make any necessary arrangements
Do not turn around on the day before the shoot and cancel unexpectedly because you cannot get transport to the shoot or because all the hotels are booked up. You should try and plan any arrangements as far in advance as possible to reduce the chances of things like this getting in the way. You will not impress modelling agencies by doing this!
